Description
Modern reproduction doll representing a young Asian girl in Kimono with fan. The all porcelain doll has porcelain head, torso, arms and legs china painted in ethnic colors. She has beautiful hand painted brown eyes. She is costumed in a kimono with several layers of oriental fabrics and silks. Her Obi is made from a fine piece of vintage Japanese Obi silk and tied with silk cords. Formal headdress is handmade of goldtone wire and seedbeads. She holds a fan made of brass and pleated silk. Shadow Box frame contains a garden scene based on a woven tapestry accented with dried floral and vintage Chinese silk tassels.
Doll is 8�. Shadowbox frame is 3.5�x 10�x 11.75� (can sit in holder or hang).
